The engineering fabrication has been completed and the vehicle was road tested for the first time. The engineers wanted to know the gross weight at this time of construction. The weight bridge scales showed a gross weight of 10.2 tonnes. The final wet weight is estimated to be 12.0 tonnes. The MAN 13.290 handled extremely well with weight over the back axle.
The work on the roof / tyre rack is complete. The crane hoist and the spare wheel are fitted by specially designed brackets
The LED light bars fitted either side of the roof rack light up a large area.
The vehicle is looking more like a Dakar Rally truck with the four Nava driving lights.
